Let's start treating the climate emergency like an emergency.
CREATIVE / ART DIRECTION
Creating a conference stand that makes the climate crisis both impossible to ignore, and provides an easy vehicle for action amongst politicians.
In 2019 WWF, one of the world’s largest independent conservation organisations, was on a mission to create to create a world with thriving habitats and species by reducing how we use the planet's resources.
The charity would be exhibiting for the first time at both the Labour and Conservative party conferences, and asked Nice and Serious to create an immersive experience, capable of connecting with both parties in a way that emphasised the immediacy of the climate crisis, whilst at the same time inspiring MPs to respond with pace to halt the catastrophic loss of biodiversity.
The installation won the coveted ‘Best Stand Design’ at both the Labour and Conservative Party conferences, and was picked up by The Guardian, The Telegraph, Express, Sky News and even The Daily Mail.
It pulled in a number of key figures from across both parties, including Labour party activist and comedian, Eddie Izzard, and the Leader of the Labour party, Jeremy Corbyn.
